A frontline social club, Aces Club of Ikirun, has elected Prince Lateef Kayode Adeyemi as its new president along with the club’s new executives; Ace Sunday Adeleke Adegboye, Vice President; Ace Abimbola Abiona, General Secretary; Ace Tunji Olawoyin, Assistant General Secretary; Ace Olufemi Charles Olanihun former Director with the Mainstreet Bank Registrars Limited, Financial Secretary; Ace Sunkanmi Ajiboye, Publicity Secretary; Ace Bimbola Onisabi, Welfare Secretary; Ace Iyiola Adegboye and Ace Lateef Akin Owolabi, Ex Officials

The meeting which was attended by members from all over the world was held via Zoom.

The immediate past president of the club, Iyiola Adegboye, thanked all members for their support and encouraged them to cooperate with the new executives. 

 

The Aces Club of Ikirun is a membership only club that promotes friendship and cooperation, encouraging the spirit of oneness among members. The goal of the club is to develop the Ikirun community for socio-economic upliftment and the growth of all its members. During the appointment of the new executive, Ace Olufemi Charles Olanihun the new financial secretary mentioned how honored he is to be called to serve the people of Ikirun for the betterment of every Ikirun person and the development of the community.

The Role

The Media Executive is a natural sales person with strong media and advertising agency contact and network in the industry. He/she is responsible for delivering sales target and must be passionate about digital technology.

Responsibilities

·         Be responsible for Monthly Media Sales Targets and revenue projections for the business

·         Ensure that the Online orders are implemented and activated as ordered per the trafficking details on the Insertion Orders (IO). Request for screenshots as confirmation.

·         Be able to negotiate with clients on behalf of partners publishers.

·         Assist the Campaign Manager and Analysts with campaign reconciliation and delivery confirmation.

·         Attend all relevant Sales, BD, and Partner meetings or conferences.

·         Identify opportunities to implement solutions/processes that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Sales.

·         Work directly with advertisers & media buyers to collect creative assets, troubleshoot technical issues, and correctly implement rich media creative.

·         Forward weekly business pipeline and report documents on Mondays to line manager.

·         Develop monthly sales/marketing strategy and effectively execute them with approval from the line manager

·         Contribute to the development of our corporate strategy based on an understanding of the digital market

·         To be responsible for self-development and to participate in the company performance development process

·         To carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and standards

An advertising and marketing solutions organization based in Lagos state requires a male client service executive for immediate employment.

Responsibilities: 

·         Assist in conducting research on business opportunities and make recommendations for acquiring new client accounts.

·         Conduct detailed research on client’s background, business strategy, market segment, key competitors and key product/service offerings to facilitate a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements.

·         Liaise with relevant internal (Creative and Media) and external (partner agencies) parties as required to ensure timely delivery of client projects.

·         Obtain input from Creative and Media to develop presentations for pitch/proposals in line with Organization’s brand strategy.

·         Document outcome of internal briefing sessions in terms of overall advertising campaign strategy highlighting work approach, key responsibilities, timelines and key milestones.

·         Review copy/advert communications to be delivered to the clients to ensure that they are consistent with Organization’s quality standards, free of error and meet general standards of the client.

·         Follow up with clients to ensure timely collection of bills in line pre-agreed contract terms.

·         Identify and define potential opportunities in the business sector, including the formulation and screening/evaluation of criteria for the opportunities to be developed beyond conceptualization.

·         Develop and maintain excellent relationship with Company’s internal and external stakeholders.

·         Work with other team members to develop draft advertising campaign work plans, key responsibilities, timelines and key milestones, as well as develop pitches/proposals based on pre-agreed outlines.

·         Manage client files, and ensure timely updates with key documents including approved brief, contract/agreement, work plans, billing schedules etc.

·         Attend client briefing sessions/meetings with a view to obtaining and understanding their requirements, critique the client’s assumptions to aid the development of final brief.

Educational Requirements:
• Must possess a minimum of Bachelors Degree qualification preferable in English or any of the humanities. Previous experience in a client service role is an added advantage
