Overview (Location: Nigeria)
This position manages media and public relations in Ericsson Region Sub-Saharan Africa in alignment with Ericsson global Communications' strategy
Specific job functions and responsibilities include:
• To secure accurate positioning of Ericsson and ensure consistent communication.
• Drive communication initiatives create and implement communications plans.

• To secure accurate positioning of Ericsson and ensure consistent communication.
• Drive communication initiatives create and implement communications plans.
• Develop and manage change and crisis communications.
• Initiate, facilitate, manage and maintain relations with external parties such as e.g. press, investors and other external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media, trade press and broadcasters
• Pro-actively use PR as means to build position and perception in wanted areas/categories in the region
• Management of PR agencies
• Appoint and coach spokespersons in the region
• Responsible for advertorial and other external on-line activities
• Support global editorial board and manage local ericsson.com sites

• Excellent media contacts across Africa gleaned from more than 10 years work experience
• Good knowledge of the telecoms industry, particularly within RSSA
• Excellent command of English, knowledge of an additional language used across the region is a plus
• Familiarity with digital media is a plus
• Good command of general office administration tools e.g. Microsoft Office etc.
• A university degree is essential and a further degree or a specialisation in Communications is a plus
